Access to Business is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation providing pathways into work related services for unemployed people, with a particular emphasis on supporting people with disabilities/those with health problems.
We provide a range of free tailored support services and courses for Clients who wish to undertake:
We work across the Black Country with an identified base in Wolverhampton City Centre.
Other services and facilities on offer for Clients include:
• In-house Client-led social/support group
• Volunteering opportunities
• Qualifications
• Equipment Pool – a range of aids and adaptations
• Confidence Building
• Networking events
• Referral to partner agencies where appropriate
Access to Business was established on 1 April 2004 with two staff members supporting 40 Clients. Demand for our services has continued to increase and in order to meet this demand we have increased staff numbers and in January 2009 we relocated to our new larger and fully accessible premises in Wolverhampton City Centre.
In our new Centre we employ 12 members of staff and support in excess of 1000 Clients each year.
