The Project Details

HMRC

The HMRC project is there to help and inform people with information on tax, national insurance, benefits, and state pensions. However we will endeavour to help clients with their budgeting and cost of living difficulties. The project is initially funded by HMRC and this funding is distributed by the good things foundation.

What activities are on offer?

We offer a one to one service as we understand the people feel uncomfortable speaking about their personal finance. We also offer information in a classroom environment where we deliver general information on the subjects that i have previously mentioned. Many one to one appointments come from these workshops.

How do we benefit our clients?

The benefits for the clients is that they have a better understanding of what they are entitled to and how to claim these benefits, we also help them to understand their budgeting needs i.e. trying to balance their income against their outgoings. We also give an insight into the Tax and national insurance and how this works with regards to tax levels and NI classes.

What areas do we cover?

The project is a national project and access 2 business covers the west midlands area.
