The Project Details

Black Country Futures

Black Country Futures, started from May 1st 2020, is a 2 year programme committed to supporting the unemployed, disadvantaged and isolated Black Country Residents aged 16 and over, while increasing confidence, motivation and wellbeing.

We’ll support them in skills building, attending employability sessions, and access training to move closer to Employment, Education or Training.

We have a variety of different methods to reach this goal:

  • 1:1 Support to Increase IT Skills
  • Healthy Lifestyles Workshops
  • Budgeting Workshops to Increase Financial Management
  • Access Volunteering
  • Increase Social Inclusion through Soft Activities
  • 1:1 Employability Skills Support
  • Confidence Building and Motivation Workshops

Our experienced employment advisors are not only able to offer Employment, Education and Training guidance, but also a range of support to build an individual’s skills and confidence to move forward.
