Our Employability services offers a wide range of support for beneficiaries throughout the Wolverhampton and Black Country region providing professional support in improving lives.
We have over 16 years' experience in supporting beneficiaries into employment, further education, volunteering and gaining new skills.
A Free Business Ability Event
We employ fully qualified Employment advisors who possess a strong background in supporting beneficiaries throughout the Black Country and have personal experiences of previously being made redundant and have previously faced periods of unemployment.
Access to Business provides a bespoke level of support for every beneficiary offering an initial IAG appointment where we can agree and discuss a planned client journey looking at addressing barriers, required training needs and personal goal setting.
Every beneficiary will then receive access to a wide variety of support which may involve one to one support or attending group workshop sessions depending on the beneficiary's preference.
We deliver a wide range of accredited courses through Nuco training, including Functional skills in Food Safety, Emergency First Aid and Health and Safety in the Workplace.
In 2017 Access to Business achieved a Queens Award for our Volunteering Services which was a fantastic achievement to recognise the impact where we have helped beneficiaries into volunteering.
We work with a wide network of local and regional delivery partners who also have experience of supporting beneficiaries and have established strong working relationships with local community groups, colleges and employers.
