Business Advisor

Full Time £24,000 per annum, Temporary until 31/12/2022

This is an exciting opportunity to join Access to Business to support our successful RAISE (Raising Aspirations, Inspiring Self Employment/Social Enterprise) project funded by ERDF European Regional Development Fund. 

The project provides an advisory service to new, existing and potential entrepreneurs to aid and support them in the establishment and sustainability of their own businesses/self-employment. To work with, and effectively manage, a portfolio of clients delivering 1-2-1 beneficiaries’ meetings and business workshops as well as monitoring, reviewing and evaluating their programmes of support.

The successful applicant will work as part of the team to deliver project targets. The post will be based in Wolverhampton however the services will be provided across the Black Country. 

The successful candidate will either hold an IAG Level 3 or above, SFEDI Business Advice Award, Level 3 in business, finance or equivalent and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in delivering business support services. Excellent business sense, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience of delivering workshops and presentations are required.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and be competent in the use MS Office applications.

Employment Advisor

Temporary until 31/03/2022 initially, may be extended subject to funding

Full Time £23,000 per annum

This is an exciting position to join Access to Business to support local people into employment, training and volunteering. The Employment Advisor will manage a portfolio of clients delivering 1-2-1 and group/sessional activities and workshops. They will work as part of the team to meet employability targets, evaluate support programmes and undertake recruitment and other activities as required.

The successful candidate will hold an IAG Level 3 qualification or above, and will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in delivering employability support services. Proven experience of developing training/support sessions and presentations is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and be competent in the use of MS Office applications.

We are open to review job share options and part-time work proposals. Working on self employment basis can be considered if preferred.
